Project Showcase丨875 kW Rooftop Solar Project Helps Desha Bio Save 630,000 Yuan Annually

Desha Bio’s new 875 kW rooftop solar power station has been successfully connected to the grid. Designed and built by SUNKWH, the project provides a green energy solution for the company’s manufacturing operations in Sanshui District, Foshan.

Desha Bio produces maternal and infant care products and skincare cosmetics. As production capacity grows, so does its electricity demand. The new solar system generates clean power during daytime production hours, helping reduce reliance on grid electricity and lower operating costs.

A Well-Designed Rooftop System

The system is installed on the factory’s color steel roof using 1,337 high-efficiency LONGi solar modules. With an estimated annual output of around 870,000 kWh, the design makes full use of the available roof space while supporting long-term, stable power generation.

The installation uses an integrated PV tile system with built-in rails and concealed fasteners. This means no drilling into the roof, which helps preserve roof integrity, improve wind resistance, and reduce the risk of water leakage.

Lower Costs, Greener Production

The power station follows a self-consumption with surplus power exported to the grid model. During the day, up to 80% of the factory’s electricity use can be supplied by solar power, covering peak demand from production equipment.

The project is expected to save Desa Bio around 630,000 yuan in electricity costs every year, while also supporting its move toward a greener, lower-carbon factory.
