Project Showcase | 839 kW Solar Project Delivers Annual Savings of RMB 400,000

High electricity use and peak-hour rates can significantly increase operating costs for businesses. Rooftop solar helps companies lower their electricity bills, use more clean energy, and support their transition to low-carbon operations.

Mocai’s 1,039 kW Phase I solar project, built by SUNKWH, was commissioned in 2022 and has operated reliably for more than 4 years. Its strong generation performance and construction quality have earned positive feedback from our client.

Recently, Mocai’s 839 kW Phase II solar project was successfully connected to the grid and officially commissioned.

Located in Huizhou, this project makes use of rooftop space to build a solar power station. Phase II uses a flat-and-rack mounting system with 1,291 high-efficiency 650 W modules, maximizing the use of available rooftop space.

The project uses PV-integrated roof tiles with built-in guide rails, so no additional mounting clips or roof drilling are required. This helps protect the roof and makes installation faster.

The PV modules fit closely against the roof tiles for a more integrated design. This improves wind resistance, helps prevent uplift, and reduces the risk of water leakage.

This solar system is expected to generate around 870,000 kWh of electricity each year. About 80% of the power will be used directly on site, reducing reliance on grid electricity. The project is expected to save the business approximately RMB 400,000 each year.

Beyond cost savings, the rooftop solar system helps keep the factory cooler and supports greener operations.
